Hello friends!
We have had quite an interesting time here the last few days. It started on Friday at 6:30am when I recieved a call from one of our staff members, Jill. She was in a wreck. We spent most of the morning getting the car towed and taking her to the ER. She is OK and the other driver is also – Praise the Lord! The car lived a good life, but will not be rejoining us. Satan really tried to use this to attack Jill and we are praying against this – please join us in this.
Also, we had 2 new groups arrive on Saturday – one from Ohio and one from Canada. On Sunday morning, we got to go to the ER again. Several kids tried running UP the DOWN escalator! Needless to say, that didn’t turn out so well for the girl in flip flops. 🙂 On Sunday evening, some other kids were playing soccer barefoot and a girl jammed her toe. On Monday, we got to visit an urgent care with another girl who tried dancing while exiting a vehicle. She fell, gashed her knee, and now has 9 stitches. Also on Monday, a leader smashed his finger under a sewer drain lid (that’s a long story)! We also have had another staff member get 2 flat tires.
So, we did not have to take anyone to the ER today and we did not have any flat tires. Praise the Lord! Please pray for protection physically, mentally, and spiritually for our staff and the groups attending. Prayer is VITAL! We received news yesterday that this sort of stuff is happening in many of the AIM locations this summer. Satan is kicking and screaming, but I KNOW God has already won the war for us!
