Hello to all our friends and family!
I just wanted to post a quick update to get you praying. Mike is going to Haiti tomorrow! He will be there for 2 weeks leading some AIM mission trips.
Here are a few quick prayer requests:
* AIM has staff who have been on the ground in Haiti since the earthquake hit. Pray that Mike will be able to encourage them and give them a little break for refreshment.
* Pray for safety as Mike travels to and from Haiti as well as while he is there. Also pray for safety for the other staff and mission teams.
* We just heard that it is common for things to “go missing” from a checked bag. Please pray that Mike’s bags will not be tampered with. Between his medical bag and camping gear, there is a lot of stuff that we wouldn’t want to have to replace.
* Pray for good communication and unity among the AIM staff. With people rotating in and out, please pray that this team would mesh together quickly and well – being able to bring the most glory to God and the most help to Haiti.
* Pray for me also as Mike is gone. I don’t sleep well when he is gone and am usually completely exhausted by the end of his trip!
These are just a few prayer requests to get us going. As I hear from Mike, I will post updates for you! Thank you for your prayers!!!
